One man has been found guilty of manslaughter in the stabbing death of a man at an amusement park in Ottawa's east end.
Charbel Chaar was killed during a confrontation that included gunfire at the Midway Family Fun Park on St. Laurent Boulevard in 2003.
Wahab Dadshani, 31, is one of six men initially charged with first-degree murder in the killing, but is the only one found guilty Wednesday.
Dadshani admitted to swinging the sword that killed Chaar, but had said it was in self-defence.
Tawab Dadshani, 33, Tarik Echrif, 28, Mohamed Abed, 25, Shaun Hulbert, 25, and Fahim Payman, 30, were all acquitted following a jury trial.
A manslaughter conviction carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Let me get this straight, a man is killed with a sword and his murder MAY get a life sentence?
What in the fuck is wrong with this picture? Was it the fact he was killed......with a SWORD!!! How how about that it was six sand niggers who particapated in this killing and only ONE was found guilty.
I vote we put them all in a room with a sword, the one who lives gets to go free.
